Good to know
I. Before you book.
If you’re looking for a quiet fly on the wall kind of photographer you’ve come to the wrong place. Yes, I want to capture all the messy authentic moments, but I am the kind of photographer who will take direction on your wedding day and guide you where needed. Don’t worry, we won’t do any awkward and stiff posing, but I will direct you into emotion filled moments creating the vision you dream of.
Before booking a photographer for your wedding day, meet up with them, get to know them and see if your personalities click. You put all your trust into your photographer to document one of the most meaningful days of your lives, they will be in your face with a camera throughout very personal moments on your wedding day and you should be completely comfortable with that person.
II. What to expect.
Firstly, we’ll go for a coffee to meet up, or have a chat online if you’re not from around. Once you booked with me, the planning finally starts! I am happy to assist you with panning your beautiful day where needed, working in the wedding industry for almost twelve years has it’s perks - I have all the contracts and will be happy to recommend service providers I personally love to work with.
I don’t see you as just my client, and I’m not just your photographer, I’m your friend, your hype girl and pro third wheeler... We will create a photo-timeline for your wedding day so everything runs smoothly, I will arrive early, help calm
your nerves if needed and be with you every step of the way.
III. The editing process.
Expect to receive a preview of sneak peek images a couple of days after the wedding, the excitement is real to share your photographs with you, however, perfection takes time. Your photos are backed up straight after I arrive home from your wedding - so you have piece of mind that your highly valued moments are kept safe. My editing process starts by going through the hundreds of photographs and choosing the best ones. I don’t batch edit and just slap a preset over your photos, I hand re-touch every single image, making sure it is perfect - even the perfectly imperfect moments. Therefore the waiting period till you receive your photographs may require some patience, but when you finally do
receive your gallery with high-resolution photographs ready for print, it will be worth the wait.
